The Albert Hotel in Fredericksburg was an absolute dream to work at for a wedding. I had the privilege of working as a photographer here. From the moment I arrived, everything felt seamless and well organized, which made the entire wedding day run so smoothly for the couple and for all of us vendors. The location is easy to find, which made arrival and guest flow effortless, and the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the day. Every vendor we worked alongside was wonderful, and you could truly tell the team cared about making sure the couple had the best possible experience. And the food—wow. Vendor meals are usually an afterthought at weddings, but The Albert Hotel went above and beyond. We were served a warm, delicious meal that was genuinely so, so good, which made such a difference during a long wedding day. As a photographer, (Ruth Lattimore Photography LLC) it was a lovely place to work. The staff’s attentiveness and hospitality helped everything stay on track and allowed the couple to relax and enjoy their day, which ultimately makes for better moments and better photos. I would absolutely love to work here again and highly recommend The Albert Hotel to any couple planning their wedding in Fredericksburg.

This is a lovely place. We had a great mini vacation. One thing. On Thursday evening we ate outside in the area overlooking the pool. We were the only people out there. We ordered wine and an entree. Our entree was brought out within 5 minutes. Way to make the dinner romantic! We weren’t trying to eat dinner in a record time and break an Olympic record. We were not in Milan. Also, the chicken fried steak was too salty, so we ended up taking leave early anyway.

Albert hotel went above and beyond for our stay! I wanted to surprise my mom for her 50th birthday and the hotel did just that! They left complimentary champagne and a birthday note for my mother. She felt so special. The room was clean and so comfortable. Even though the hot water went out the 2nd day, the hotel staff was more than accommodating and the team came out and fixed it asap. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

Great looking rooms with comfortable beds and TV works well. Shower was strong and hot, venting not so much. AC seemed to work well. As others have mentioned the service though seems to be lacking…and the nickel and dime of a resort fee at a non resort seems strange (trying to charge for basic amenities like a fitness room and WiFi or coffee in the lobby in 2026 seems odd). I booked through their website and it didnt have the fee added until after checkout so wasn’t quite expecting it. Coffee was sour and weak (sort of like how Starbucks has the burnt flavor this had a sour profile). The saloon was nice (dive bar feel but not a dive bar). The hotel bar has high end whiskey but doesn’t have a menu or pricing so beware you might be asking for a $100+ pour. Overall: great if you want pictures of awesome looking hotel in background photos; otherwise I’d rather stay at a BnB or smaller well run hotel. Can’t comment on pool.

We recently hosted a large team-building event for 50+ people at Albert Hotel, and it exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and exceptional. The food was absolutely incredible—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and universally loved by our team. The accommodations were stunning: comfortable, elegant, and designed with great attention to detail. The location is also a huge plus—super accessible to Fredericksburg Main Street, making it easy for guests to explore and enjoy the area. A special thank-you to Rain and Stephanie, who were truly outstanding. Their planning, communication, and attentiveness made the entire event feel effortless. They anticipated needs, accommodated requests with ease, and ensured every detail was handled with care and professionalism. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to partner with. Highly, highly recommend the Albert Hotel for corporate events, retreats, or group gatherings—you will be in exceptional hands

We had such a great experience at the Albert Hotel! The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming, but what truly made our visit stand out was the service at the bar. Patrick, our bartender, was incredible. He was so attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. Every drink he made was fantastic—honestly some of the best cocktails we’ve had. He took great care of us and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting, definitely stop by the bar and ask for Patrick. He’ll take great care of you!

The staff were really helpful. Kind. Efficient. Caring. I’d stay here every time if I came back to Fredericksburg TX. We were here for a family holiday so I don’t know when, but if I do I’m coming here. Conveniently located to the historic district and museums. The ONLY negative was the noise from the hallway travels and anyone’s door shutting sounds like it’s your door. The quality of the furnishings is high end and the deco is on point! There is no micro or coffee or water in rooms but it is free to request. There is a bar fridge stocked with things. But there is a fee! Lovely place. Dog friendly. Family of all ages friendly. Pool. Gym. Free Hot cocoa on the lawn at night. You will enjoy your visit.

Absolutely beautiful new hotel that perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort. The property is made up of a new hotel and stunning old buildings filled with character and history, yet everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully updated. Its location right in the heart of the main street makes it ideal—you can easily stroll to shops and cafés without needing a car. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, going out of their way to make the stay special. The room was spacious, simply decorated, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable—one of the best night’s sleeps I’ve had while traveling. Another major plus is the convenience of having several excellent restaurants right on-site, offering a variety of dining options without ever having to leave the property. Overall, this hotel captures the perfect balance of history, comfort, and hospitality—truly a memorable place to stay.
